Health & Safety Notice
Effective May 20, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026
Zeitora supports reminiscence and daily engagement. It is not a substitute for professional healthcare.
1. Not medical care
Zeitora Inc. provides a digital wellness and engagement tool. Zeitora does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, prescription, or emergency response.
Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical decisions.
2. Emergencies
If you or someone you care for is in immediate danger or experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number) immediately. Do not rely on the AI companion for crisis support.
3. Health-related information
You may choose to share health-related details in memories or conversations. We treat such information as sensitive personal information under PIPEDA.
Marketing references to "HIPAA-aware" design describe privacy-conscious architecture goals. Unless we enter into a specific Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with a covered entity, the Service is not offered as a HIPAA-covered solution in the United States.
Canadian care organizations remain responsible for compliance with applicable provincial health information laws when using the Service.
4. Cognitive and emotional safety
Reminiscence can evoke strong emotions. Caregivers should monitor sessions and pause or redirect conversations when distress occurs.
AI responses may occasionally be inappropriate or triggering despite safeguards. Report concerns to support so we can improve prompts and safety filters.
5. Organizations
Assisted living and healthcare facilities should implement internal policies governing staff access, consent, and incident response before deploying the Service with residents.
